We are a non-profit veteran-based Independent Motorcycle Club, we do not claim territory and we do not support any other club than the LDMC, though we will lend support to charitable events, regardless of who holds the event. This has always been the mission of the LDMC to give back and to support our local area and to focus on our Veteran Communities. The LDMC accepts veterans and direct relatives or associates to veterans with the common goal to give back to our nation’s hero’s. This is a family-oriented club, and we strive to show the world that we do not operate in the ways of other clubs. This is a family and a brotherhood, and we aim to help each other when in need and to help the needs of our communities with the intent to leave behind a legacy that will last for generations. “Immortality is a road not traveled by the faint of heart, but those who walk it have the most time to see change through.”- A Dead Man

Founded in Pennsylvania in 2015 by 8 Veterans and 2 Veteran legacies, the LDMC began its mission having family dinners weekly inviting veterans and others in need to join. Everyone needs a family, whether it be by blood or by friendship. Soon after the LDMC began holding food and supply drives for the local area homeless resource program. The program was run by 12 local churches who all took a month to house the homeless in the area. The LDMC made regular drop offs to the churches in aid of their mission. Spring of 2016 the LDMC moved to the Dayton area of Ohio with its founding President and Vice President and so, the Mother chapter of the LDMC was born, in Miamisburg "Star City", Ohio. Founded with three new members, both old friends and veterans, and a desire to continue the mission to give back. Since then, the LDMC has raised thousands of dollars in aid of the Volunteers of America Housing and Veteran Resource Center, assisted with the Dayton Blessing of the bikes giving to the AMBUCS/GREENEBUCS in which the LDMC now manages, joined numerous veteran-based business coalitions with the common mission to help our nations veterans. Today the LDMC is still located in the Miami Valley area of Ohio as well as numerous other locations along the Midwest and Northeastern states and growing.

 

The mission of the LDMC is to open Veteran resource centers all over the country to provide true, meaningful care for all veterans. The LDMC helps veterans in literally any way possible. Whether it be helping a veteran and their family move, or helping cover bills, Group discussions over PTSD and Addiction, sharing facilities with local veterans so they have a familiar place to go and unwind and seek help in an unjudgmental environment, guidance through the VA disability process, and the list continues. The LDMC and its members have given their lives and efforts in the aid of this mission. Our country's system for assisting veterans is flawed and broken and too often do we lose veterans because of a lack of care. This is why the LDMC fights this fight. With most members being veterans or direct relatives, they are all aware of the struggles of the VA red tape care. The LDMC believes in order to help veterans you must know their struggle, and who better than other veterans. We have all been through the fire, and we have all been burned, sometimes the best person to help you through your situation is the person who shares the same scars. This has led to a very "unorthodox" form of care. The LDMC welcomes veterans who need assistance in any way to reach out. They will then be matched with a member who is best suited to assist them as a sponsor. These "sponsors" assist the veteran in need through their whole process to recovery, whatever that recovery looks like. The LDMC genuinely means it what we say "We got your 6" with numerous success stories to prove it, but what is better, is showing it. So, if you are a veteran in need and feel you just can't find help, reach out to the LDMC or visit your local chapter for assistance from brothers who have been down the same road you have and will get you the resources you need. If we dont have the answer, we wont pass you off to another group or person, we will hammer down the throttle and find you the answer.
